With around 600 hectares, spread over five farms, Casa de Arrochella is part of the new generation of producers of DOC Douro wines and DOP Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes olive oils. Descendant and successor of Nicolau de Arrochella Moraes and Castro Pimentel, 1st Count of Arrochella, Bernardo Alegria is the driving force behind this Douro Superior project with over 115 hectares of vineyards. He sought to unite the history of Casa de Arrochella's important links in the region of Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes and Alto Douro with his passion and dedication to the Douro.
