With around 600 hectares, spread over five farms, Casa de Arrochella is part of the new generation of producers of DOC Douro wines and DOP Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes olive oils. Descendant and successor of Nicolau de Arrochella Moraes and Castro Pimentel, 1st Count of Arrochella, Bernardo Alegria is the driving force behind this Douro Superior project with over 115 hectares of vineyards. He sought to unite the history of Casa de Arrochella's important links in the region of Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes and Alto Douro with his passion and dedication to the Douro. It is in the Douro Superior sub-region, between Vila Flor, Torre de Moncorvo and Foz C\u00f4a that all wine and olive oil production takes place.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Cor vermelha fechada com reflexos granada.\u00a0Aroma floral intenso e fresco, num conjunto muito complexo e equilibrado.\u00a0Na boca \u00e9 delicado, fresco e muito persistente.\u00a0Ricas notas de especiarias e florais, taninos finos e elegantes, final longo e persistente.<\/p>\n

Cor vermelho vivo e intenso. No aroma apresenta boa intensidade e persist\u00eancia com envolventes notas florais e frutos vermelhos e baunilha. Na boca \u00e9 vinoso e fresco, bons taninos e corpo envolvente, boas notas de frutos vermelhos. Termina persistente e prolongado.<\/p>\n
