Quinta Vale d'Aldeia \u2013 located in the Meda region, in the middle of the Douro Superior \u2013 is a project that was born from the effort and dedication of a family, whose main objective is to produce excellent wines.<\/p>\n

Its location, characterized by rich and complex microclimates, allows the generous soil and selected grape varieties to obtain truly unique profitability and quality. This factor is combined with the use of cutting-edge technology in the production and manufacture of wine, which makes Quinta Vale d'Aldeia one of the main wineries in the Demarcated Douro region.<\/p>\n

Entirely inserted in the demarcated Douro region, the farm currently has around 150 hectares of cultivated land, of which 110 are vineyards and the remainder olive groves. The vines have been planted since 2004 to the present day and are distributed in plots by carefully selected grape varieties, taking into account the characteristics of the soil, sun exposure, altitude and the ripeness to be obtained. Wines from this area are young and fresh wines, whose most evident characteristic is the acidity they acquire during maturation, which is one of the most important qualities with regard to the evolution of wines during bottle aging.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

De cor vermelha intensa, apresenta-se muito concentrado no nariz, com aroma a frutos vermelhos bem maduros, frutos silvestres e cerejas pretas, com notas de madeira. A boca \u00e9 elegante com boa acidez e taninos aveludados resultando num vinho estruturado e harmonioso.<\/p>\n

Acompanha bem carne de cordeiro ou ovelha assada na brasa ou no forno, risotos ou massas \u00e0 base de cogumelos e queijos duros.<\/p>\n

Est\u00e1gio de 16 meses em barricas de Carvalho Franc\u00eas.
