From the legendary 1840, the first Vintage Port wine to be launched on the market, to the fantastic vintages declared in the last decade, the company has produced a series of acclaimed wines, even in the most adverse moments in history.<\/p>\n

James Suckling, in his reference book on Vintage Port wines, describes the following: \u201cFonseca Vintage Ports are consistently perhaps the best of all. Not only do they have remarkable corpulence and powerful wealth when they are young, but they also maintain that youth for decades.\u201d<\/p>\n

This consistency is the result not only of the continuity of family involvement and of all the knowledge and skills passed down from generation to generation, as well as a very close connection with the vineyard. The company's three properties \u2013 Cruzeiro, Panascal and Santo Ant\u00f3nio \u2013 are the heart of the character that distinguishes its Vintage Port wines.<\/p>\n
